Velco 115kv

New multi-upright transmission structures installed at the Vermont Electric Company (VELCO) 115kV Line comprised three uprights per structure with a single, shared cross member. CHM Utility worked with VELCO to design a solution providing superior cost, lead time, and long-term survivability over wooden structures.

All structures are direct embedment weathering steel, including specific below-grade epoxy coating with additional UV stabilization we used to replace aging wooden systems.
